Big size problem

Due to the antenna effect, the larger the size of the capacitive touch screen, the more difficult it is to improve anti-interference and sensitivity, and it is easy to cause false touch operations due to the capacitive touch screen itself. In the industrial LCD products, the integrated touch panel and advanced technology are adopted to successfully overcome this problem. At present, industrial-grade products can realize the stable operation of industrial-grade capacitive touch screens up to 18.5 inches. The integrated panel refers to the integration of the capacitive touch screen and the front tempered glass panel through a special process. In this way, the following problems can be solved:
  1. Solve the problem of sensitive air gap between the capacitive touch screen and the spacer, which will greatly reduce the requirements for placement, and the production is simple and easy;
  2. Adapt to the application environment with gloves or dirty hands;

Thick protective cover problem

When using an ordinary switching power supply, set the highest sensitivity to achieve the following operations:
  1. When 1-3 pieces of 1.6mm thick tempered glass are superimposed, the touch screen function is normal.
  2. Touch the paper magazine with a thickness of 8mm, and the touch screen functions normally.

Glove problem

Industrial environments often require the wearing of gloves for machine operations. While this isn’t a big deal for mechanical buttons, it can have a huge impact on capacitive touch solutions. The capacitive touch screen can work normally even when wearing plush gloves in winter, and the touch screen can be operated normally with rubber gloves, plastic gloves, and cotton gloves commonly used in the industry. And a small amount of water or other dirt on the gloves will not affect the normal operation of the capacitive touch screen.

Outdoor use problem

Considering that many industrial application environments are outdoors, there will be interference from strong light and ultraviolet rays. In the past, if the capacitive touch screen was used outdoors for a long time, it would age, causing the capacitive touch screen to no longer work normally. On the capacitive touch screen, the functions of CG anti-glare and UV protection are adopted. CG anti-glare means that under strong light, the touch screen can diffusely reflect the light source, thereby reducing the intensity of light reflected directly into the human eye through the touch screen. UV protection is the ultraviolet protection function. Through a special coating, ultraviolet rays cannot pass through the glass on the capacitive touch screen, thereby greatly reducing the impact of ultraviolet rays on the device.

Mechanical stability issues

G+G refers to Glass+ Glass, which means that the capacitive touch screen is composed of double-layer tempered glass instead of single-layer tempered glass + organic coating.
